About Me

My name is Carla Perez-Vera and I’m based in San Francisco, CA. 

I’m originally from the Canary Islands, Spain, went to college in Madrid, and after a great year working in Spain’s capital, I moved to San Francisco for a 6 month work assignment. Needles to say, I fell in love with the Bay Area and it’s been home ever since.

I have 9+ years of experience in the marketing event and partnerships field, with a focus on technology, startups and venture capital. Through my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing brands such as Google, Samsung, Kauffman, Bloomberg, Target, Salesforce, Amazon, etc. 

I’ve produced event activations and brand partnerships at some of the biggest conferences around the world like CES, SXSW, MWC, Web Summit, Slush, etc.  and experiential summits in APAC, EMEA, LATAM and North America.

I wear multiple hats and I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty to make ideas happen. I specialize in unique, complex, strategic experiences that help companies increase brand awareness and can drive business results for our partners and sponsors. I’ve been working and managing remote and international teams all my career, and specialize in creating structure while learning and leveraging local culture and customs. I thrive building strategies and ideas,  budget planning and cost saving while not lowering the quality of the experiences. I’m an avid project manager and I like making sure deadlines, vendors and partners are all on track and ready to go!
